Sirui glass (lenses)

I haven't had to purchase much gear in the past few months but I have had the chance to use a few items. One thing that I got to use was Sirui Saturn full frame lenses. I am a second unite Director of Photography for a short film that is being filmed in February but needed some B-roll before hand. We went through Downtown Los Angeles and got a lot of amazing shots at dawn and in the afternoon. The images came out amazing and clear with smooth bokeh. They were paired up with my Sony FX6 using an Atomos Ninja V+ for ProRes Raw.

I have used Zeiss C.P3 and Sony GM lenses in the past and they are amazing lenses as well, but this production wanted a different look on a low budget for the time frame. The look on the Sirui glass was nice and smooth and the colors were great.  I really enjoyed the images and the lenses and will be looking to get my own set in the future.
