Filmmakers put a lot of thought, blood, sweat and tears into bringing their project to light. When everything is said and done on the production side, they might want someone to give them some insight to their completed project before sending it off to the film festival cycle or for distribution. Some critics may offer a review, you can peer review, or you can have someone do a review for you. Here are a couple of sites that productions I have worked on have used in the past that I think are professional to work with.

Take 2 Indie Review (take2indiereview.net).

Take 2 Indie Review has a very simple format to fill out and submit your film for review. Their site has set parameters listed so that you know where your film will fall in terms length and costs. Reviews include short and feature length films and the have a section for a guaranteed 28 day return as well. They also offer to do an interview of members from your film team. The quality and professionalism of this group has been great, with great turn around and feedback.

Indy Reviews (indyreviews.com)

Indy Reviews is another prime example of professional workers that love the film industry. They were very professional and simple to work with. They have two sections for film lengths, 30 minutes or more and under 30 minutes. They do deal in GBP instead of USD but that is something worth working with. Review fees cover hosting of the content on the website while it is active, noting that you should keep a copy of the film yourself and not depend on them to keep a copy. It's a simple site, but well put together and easy to navigate.

Film Threat (filmthreat.com)

Film Threat is another site that does film reviews and loves the industry. They do have a few different sections to choose from such as Free, Fast Pass - Shorts, Fast Pass - Feat, Trailer Premiere and Social Boost. They have been a nice team to work with and remained

professional throughout the process. Their layout is fairly simple and I haven't had any issues with their site as of today.

There are many other places to get reviews done for your short or feature length film. They all have their own personality and prestige that can grow and change over time. These are ones that I have had projects go through, so I know how my group of filmmakers were treated. They treated us well in a professional, movie loving manner and I think that they'll do the same for others as well.
